We understand that business itself is an economic activity carried out in order to earn profit. Some entrepreneurs engage their time solely to improving the quality of their products while others concentrate on providing facilities such as housing, transport and healthcare for their employees.

However, we believe that profit is not the sole function of any business. We have a corporate social responsibility towards our nation and as such we engage in various activities for the welfare of its citizens.

Environment:

As part of our corporate social responsibility, Intraco has recently launched the first Amusement/Entertainment Park in Chittagong called ‘Butterfly Park’. With a vision to uplift the natural beauty of the entire locality (Patenga) we have gathered more than four thousand live butterflies within one of the enclosures! We encourage visitors of all ages to come and interact with the live butterfly which is an unforgettable experience. The Butterfly Park also consists of an international standard resort, restaurant and various other entertainment activities for families to participate in. Not only do our employees have free access to enjoy the facilities, twice a week we open our gates to impoverished children so that they can enjoy the facilities free of cost.
